About

I'm Nassim Barhoumi, a computer science student based in the Montreal area. I spend most of my time in the part of tech where data meets business decisions — marketing analytics, CRM systems, dashboards, and increasingly how AI fits into everyday analysis.

What I enjoy is the practical middle ground: taking messy data, cleaning it with SQL, modelling it, and turning it into something a real person can actually act on. Day to day that means SQL, Power BI and DAX, Salesforce and CRM data, Google Analytics, and a growing amount of Python and AI tooling.

This blog is where I write about that work — partly to sharpen my own thinking, partly to keep useful notes in public. I'm not writing as a ten-year veteran; I'm writing as someone actively learning, sharing the process honestly, including the parts I get wrong.

What I'm working toward

I'm looking for internships and junior roles in data and analytics, and I take on the occasional freelance dashboard project. If any of that overlaps with what you're doing, I'd be glad to talk.

The best way to reach me is email, or through the contact page. You can also download my CV (PDF).
